About Sweetlove.

I am Dan Sweetlove, I set up Sweetlove Vending in 2012 after purchasing a number of vending machines from one of the major franchises, I became an independent operator in 2013 after it became clear that remaining in a franchise was not a viable option.

Sweetlove Confectionery was formed to find, source and hygienically pack the confectionery needed for my vending machines.

In 2014 surplus production was put on an internet shop giving other operators access to my different brands and products for vending. The shop became popular with other vending operators due to the diverse variety of products, price and pots that do not jam in machines especially the Chinese machines from Tubs, the pots I use are flat bottomed and do not have a label on the side as I want my customers to see what they are getting so they are not disappointed with the pot fill after spending their money unlike some of the pots from the major suppliers or franchise operators who have a side label obscuring the content of their pots.

I supply all my pots in an Easi-Fill Sleeve, each sleeve contains nine pots and makes filling a machine very easy, pots just slide in and if there are any over just tie it off and move on. You can fill a vendor in seconds and this makes sense if you have a lot of refills to complete in a day and you can instantly see what stock you have, no more hunting through boxes looking for a particular product.

In 2016 the old shop website at Sweetlove Confectionery was merged with the vending website at Sweetlove Vending to make it easier to administrate, improve service and add more products as I strive to provide more to confectionery lovers.

We have continued to grow since then by offering the best service we can, an unparalleled range of sweets, honest pricing and, no VAT.

In 2019 we opened a dedicated dispatch warehouse in Wincanton, Somerset where we now pack and dispatch all orders which, has made it easier to collate orders and make use of available overnight courier service where possible.

We also expanded our custom white label service for other operators who would like to have their own details, perhaps a logo on the labels of the pots they purchase from us. To do this we have invested in new software and equipment in our production facility and have in 2021 linked both that facility and the Wincanton warehouse to our computer mainframe. This means that once we have agreed your own label, pots can be packed automatically with that label when you order. There is a minimum run for custom labels but, as it is so small we are finding that many small operators of say, single locations such as pubs are using it too! It is however very popular with charities and wedding organisers and of course the larger operators of vending machines.

Christmas of 2019 saw a huge growth of vending machines in private homes and locations as the major supplier of the machines sought out new markets for them. This has opened up a new avenue for us, as owners of these machines seek to find better value in refilling their machines, a wider range and better service all round.

2020/21 saw the arrival of the Corona Virus Pandemic and the subsequent shut downs of society. With people at home there has been an explosion of people selling sweets from their homes mainly on EBay or through own websites offering local delivery.

Due to this we have expanded our stock capacity and will shortly offer a larger range of bulk sweets through our new website shop.
